Can I make a same-day reservation?
Same-day reservations are not available online. Call or text 604-754-7535 and our crew will check the remaining space aboard.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. Guests booking a private cruise are welcome to bring their own food and drinks onboard. Pack your favourites and provision the ship your way.
How early should we arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before departure for check-in and our pre-show. Costuming and face painting are available for kids and adults, so the whole crew can transform into proper pirates before boarding. The ship waits for no landlubber.
Are Pirate Adventures suitable for all ages?
Absolutely! Our interactive theatre cruises are designed to be enjoyable for guests of all ages, from young children to adults. The vessel is stroller-accessible, making it easy for families with little ones to participate. Infants and toddlers are welcome aboard and are counted as passengers. Please note that Sunset Cruises are reserved for guests aged 19 and over.
Is there a washroom onboard?
Yes, there is a washroom onboard the Black Spirit.
Where is the picnic area?
The picnic area is right next to our pirate shop, overlooking the marina. Tables and a 10-by-10-foot tent can be reserved for a celebration after your sailing. Call 604-754-7535 to book.
Can you accommodate groups larger than 42 people?
42 guests is the maximum capacity for each sailing. For large classes, big parties, and other groups over 42 guests, we can arrange two consecutive sailings. Call 604-754-7535 to plan your voyage.
What happens if the weather turns rough?
The boat is covered, so we sail rain or shine. Only conditions the captain considers unsafe may cause a sailing to be postponed or cancelled.
Where do the cruises depart from?
All voyages depart from Pirate Adventures at 1820 Mast Tower Lane, Granville Island, Vancouver. A loading zone is available directly in front of the picnic area by the marina. Give yourself extra time to park and find the dock before check-in.

Leave the little mateys on shore, and escape into the setting sun on the serene waters of Vancouver's beautiful English Bay. Remember to BYOG (Bring Yer Own Grog!) for a night you'll never forget.
